General information for the competitors
The race, that was held traditionally in winter time, will be held this year in the early summer. Why? Because in recent years we have had quite soft winters and to have a good snowy race is quite unlikely. So we decided to try it in summer time.
And since we made a change, then why not to make some more? To make the race more popular we brought the center of the competition away from the small village to the center of county, to Kuressaare. This way You also can expect to experience some new orienteering areas.
And this is not the end of it. We totally messed up our usual checkpoints picture taking and timing system. You can leave your cameras to your children. But if You don’t have (Android) smartphone, then ask Your children to lend You one – because this is what You are going to need this year.
We believe that all these changes will make the race more efficient and enjoyable. Other than that above, the race will be held as usual.
